I may not be a member of the Irish chapter of the International League of Pedants but I feel obliged...
EbbaOrigin: Germanic/Anglo-Saxon
Meaning: strength, return of the tide
The Irish name Méabh means "intoxicating". Sooo... "intoxicating strength". Coincidence? I think not. Excellent choice :-) I've never heard of the name Ebba before but it's a very nice sounding name.
"Tá áthas an domhain orm... agus tá an babaí go hálainn."
'Babaí" is safer than bábóg. While Phillip technically 'made' her (with some help), I don't
think it involved any glue or plastic. Of course, if she is already walking then she'll have technically ceased to be a babaí and will have been elevated to 'leanbh' - the supreme class of Scandinavian infant-warrior. This will necessitate some form of ceremonial hat and staff.
Also, I guess that is Ebba's first "Poop!"
