3 New Shirts: Ham, Ninja, Internet

Tuesday, November 08, 2005 - 12:32 AM

We've got three new shirts to introduce for the holiday season (yes, I know it's early to be thinking about Christmas, but I'm going on vacation in a few days, and won't be back until the 20th, so deal). All of these t-shirts are good for wearing on your body and make great presents for your loved ones. The ninja shirt is one that people have been requesting for many months now and I am happy to be able to finally offer it; I have stolen an idea from Rich and made the ninjas black on a black t-shirt, so it is like they are hiding right on your chest! The only thing that will give them away is the whites of their beady ninja eyes. (Contrast has been increased on our thumbnail and preview images so you can see these sneaky ninjas.)

The Internet shirt is being offered because a lot of you have been on the internet, and I thought it would be nice if folks could advertise that fact to their friends and acquaintances. The ham shirt is because ham does not get spoken to enough.

We're doing a two-week preorder period on these puppies, so order yours now and we'll print them up at the end of the two weeks (naturally, please allow some extra time for them to be delivered to you).

Please buy the hell out of these shirts. I hope you like them. Thanks!

Rejected t-shirt ideas:

- Perverts for hermione
- Furries for buckbeak
- Furries do it comfortably
- Save a chinchila, Kill a furry

It was a very bad progression.

Can we have pictures of the ninjas without extra contrast, so we can see just how much we won't be able to see them?

In Response to grjohnston (#30245):

Basically, it's black ink on a black t-shirt. So if you repeatedly wash the shirt in bleach and hot water , the ninjas will lose a lot more power than when treating them well.

If we remember (and fail to be lazy), once we have our hands on a couple of the actual shirts, we can post some pictures so people can see what the net effect is.

You forgot to tell us your credit card number, too. I'm sure everyone here would be very interested.

There is a simple way [goats.com] to reach Jon or Phillip regarding merchandise orders. This [goats.com] may go some way toward explaining why you haven't yet received your order.

I looked at the page with an old version of Internet Explorer and thought you'd posted a non-contrast version. Stupid IE.

Ham! That one got me to place an order (finally), so I threw in the zombie peanut butter as well. I can't wait to see 'em... good luck with the whole shipping business.

Okay, I've just been completely ripped off.

I just recieved my ninja shirt order today, but there doesn't appear to be any ninjas on it. Is there a returns policy on this item?

Oh they're there. You might find them hiding in the left or right armpit. When in public lift up either arm and ask some random person if they see anything in the armpit. If they give you a crazy look or run most likely they saw the ninja and were scared.

I just noticed something trivial (which Phillip might already know): after you deleted that spam post, all of the remaining posts in this thread reverted to "unread" status (from my point of view). This topic's headline in the News Forum, however, did not revert similarly.

Also, i think the ProSoft whore wants to do something kinky with those knitting needles, but they just don't know how to ask.
