POLL: Norah Hayden Rosenberg

Wednesday, May 16, 2007 - 03:57 PM

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates, but my wife gave birth to an adorable baby girl on Tuesday, May 15. Here she is!

Her name is Norah Hayden Rosenberg. She is about as awesome as a baby could possibly be. Both Norah and her mother are healthy and in good spirits.

Stats:
6 lbs 13 oz
19.25" long
dark brown hair
brown eyes
likes punctuality, sleeping
dislikes poopy diapers, giant sharks

If you'd like, you can see some more photos of Norah.

I'm going to be running Goats guest strips for the next two or three weeks, I have lined up the top-most webcomic people in the world to entertain you while I am taking care of little Norah. Then if you're good, I may give you a week of Megagamerz to top it all off. Think of it as Norah's birthday present to you! Stop by tomorrow for the first of the guest strips.

POLL: Norah Hayden Rosenberg

39% (494) Great Baby

60% (743) The Greatest Baby

I just stopped in to see what was up and lo and behold, my timing is excellent. Congratulations, man!

Norah is indeed the greatest baby--at least until we have ours. At which point there's probably gonna have to be some kind of Baby Thunderdome battle to decide the greatest.

But we're not planning for a family just yet, so Norah has some time to train.

Cute spawnling! Hopefully the sleepless nights she'll induce (over the next thirty years or so!) won't destroy you too much :3

Man, barely a day old and already topless on a webpage getting tens of thousands of hits. This "myspace generation" really makes me feel outdated. :(

Snarky comments aside: infinite congratulations to you, Jon! Any plans to make another one anytime soon?

Hey, once they're dried off and wiped down and not screaming, babies (if yours is any example) are pretty darn cute! I voted greatest baby since I don't know any other babies at this time and being the only baby makes you the best baby! And by the time I have wee ones of my own (several years from now I hope) Norah will be able to pass on her Greatest Baby crown. It's perfect! Congrats on the wee bairn, Jon, I know you'll take good care of her. (Less than 7lbs is a mite small, right?)

In this one I couldn't help but notice it appears Norah is growing a Goatee like her father.

And in this next one, I noticed more than a passing similarity to Neil and Steve. Is there something going on that we don't know about?

What a delightfully eye-gooey baby! The only other animal I know of with eye goo is cat, and cats are adorable, so Norah is adorable! I hope she becomes a recurring character in the strip so that she has something to be embarrassed about as a tweenager.
