Now I've been told I need to be on Twitter. The half-life of my interest and participation in these social networks seems to be about 3 months, but Twitter is simple enough and there don't seem to be any zombies or ninjas so far, which is unusual for the internet.
The first batch of pint glasses are already sold out, I've placed an order for the second batch and those should be out in the mail by mid-April. I'll endeavor to keep them in stock going forward.
Point of interest (to me, anyway): According to this poll, I would have needed a minimum of 1,150 pint glasses to satisfy the demands of all the poll respondents, but a run of only 72 met most of the immediate demand; I am guessing a run of 144 would have taken care of the initial sales plus the long tail of the next couple of weeks.
Since demand was only about a tenth of that indicated by the poll, that means I can easily assume that approx. 90% of my readers are liars. It's a useful statistic to have, now I can adjust initial orders accordingly.

I lied in the poll for pub stub pint glasses - I said I would only buy one, but I pre-ordered two. I'm sorry.
i love the design, the idea, and everything, but pints of the beers I drink are more than 16 oz and i got rid of my old "pint" glasses for that reason. Unfortunately I didn't really want to revisit that again.
Sorry, I was only able to find a printer who offered 16oz pints. I will keep my eyes out for 20oz pints!
The current results of this poll also express the ratios of how much I want these items. However, the 90 percent of readers being liars to 10 percent non-liars is the ratio that more accurately reflects how much money I owe to how much money I have. If the glasses are still around in May when I get my first paycheque in 8 months, I will buy one.
It could be that some of the readers are not necessarily liars, but amnesiacs or compulsives who vote over and over in the poll because they forgot they did before or just because they need to.
I like both pint glass ideas and the t-shirt. Any chance you can make Pub Stub a wallpaper?
No flasks for me. I don't even use the one from my brothers wedding.
I have the ThinkGeek pint glasses [thinkgeek.com], but I would much rather have a set of Fish pint glasses, complete with the caption "Don't ask me lady, I live in beer."
I'm sure it would partially alleviate the demand for a Fish action figure that could rest on the rim of the glass as had been proposed so many eons ago.
And I still have my Litany of Beer stein and t-shirt and so probably wouldn't buy it in pint-glass form.
While 16oz pint glasses are a nice improvement over my existing 12oz ones, the 20oz imperial pint would be ideal.
You can still order, it may just take a little longer to get them since the second batch is still at the printer.

I think that your readers just vote on what they think would be cool, and they'd probably buy the stuff that they say they would under optimal conditions (i.e. bigger, cheaper, glasses for example)
