Overclocked Lemon Super-Advance T-Shirt Preorder

Wednesday, April 02, 2003 - 07:36 AM

We got so much positive feedback from the recent Overclocked Lemon strips that we knew we just had to stick the depressing bastard on some merchandise. So, starting today, the Overclocked Lemon Super-Advance T-Shirt is now available for preorder in both maroon and black.

We're only doing a limited run of these -- whatever shirts are preordered and a handful of extras -- so if you want one, be sure to order yours by April 11th (a week and a half from now). The shirts are printed on both sides, with Overclocked Lemon on the front and the logo on the shoulders. So go ahead and preorder yours today.

I ordered mine! Now I can compare the Zen Toothgnip vs. Lemon as babe magnets.

Frankly I am a long time fan of 'Goats' however todays episode speaking against Bush offends me not only as a citizen of the United States, but as a US Army Green Beret. To be as plain as possible this war is not a 'lynching' this is a war to usurp a genocidal tyrant guilty of violating the geneva conventions rules of warfare. Hussein and his ruling Baath party have commited theft rape and murder over the past 24 years. Your not a fan of the war, fine, then dont fight in it, but dont speak out against our leader, and in turn make what myself and my friends fight and die for invalid. to quote a buddy of mine who is a SEAL currently serving in Iraq "I dont care about the protesters, because the protesters arent in iraq. They dont know the damage Saddam inflicts. and Im willing to fight to the death to improve the lives of people Ill may never meet."

What was that you were fighting for again ... freedom - does this include freedom of speech?

I realise that this has nothing to do with overclocked lemons and that Goats is probably not the right venue for this discussion, but I think it would be something of an oversight to ignore the Green Beret.

Goats is a fine venue for this kind of thing.

But over there [goats.com] or there [goats.com]. Not here, where it might further depress the lemons.

And if Green LibertyHat were the 'long-time fan' he claims to be, he'd know that.

Again, this is not the place for this discussion.

However, if you can show me any message here on the Goats forums that ridicules any or all of the members of the Armed Forces for doing their job and following the orders of the insane and idiotic Commander in Chief, I will personally apologize and send you a beer.

Now, be careful. We are ridiculing you personally for addressing this issue in a discussion thread about the overclocked lemon t-shirts. But that's not the same thing as ridiculing you for doing your job.

When we were choosing colors, I mentioned to Jon that since Land's End [amazon.com] keeps changing the color line-up of their T's, I tend to keep a couple of extra Maroon ones around...y'know...for kids.

Besides that whole computer thing, I am a geek in many ways.

How can the shirts be printed on both sides if the lemon is on the front and the logo is on the sleeves? I'm confused.

I tried to overclock a lemon. It shrivelled and then expleded *sob*

That could have more to do with it being 4 weeks old and being chucked at a wall though.

You may be confusing this with our Toothgnip Zen shirt, which has a small URL printed on the sleeve.

This shirt is printed on the front and the back (when I say shoulders, I mean near the shoulders on your back).
